We had just returned to the festival after a motorcycle ride when the hail started pelting us. We were trapped by the entrance under a tree with limbs coming down on us, I felt safer running to the campsite and Steve took off on the bike to try to find cover, just as I was nearing the entrance to the campgrounds a tree came down right in front of me-on top of a tent in the family camping, there was a fence separating me from the area where the tent was, an emergency vehicle was passing at that point and I stopped it to make sure he knew that the tree had hit a tent and the man indicated he was heading that way. Once back at my site, I ran for cover under our canopy to find a true gentleman named Todd holding down our canopy for us, I was so freaked out at that point after being hit by hail, debris and running for my life I could hardly breath. Todd was calm and cool and just held on to the frame. Steve was no where to be found, I was afraid he had dumped the bike. He did eventually show, with the truck keys so we could get in better shelter! Wild wild weather!!! Can't wait for DelFest 2010!!!!!!!! Thanks Todd, for your calm demeanor!
